Warranty Information & Terms

Limited Lifetime Warranty:
Greene Manufacturing, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser each product manufactured by Greene Mfg., Inc. against factory defect in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product from the date of purchase.

If your product should fail to operate properly for the intended and specific use during the warranty period, please notify GMI at the listed address or call our main office at (800) 396-4642.

If your product is found to have been consumer damaged or abused, it is not covered by the warranty and you will be advised in advance of the repair costs.

Greene Mfg., Inc’s sole and exclusive liability for defects in material and workmanship shall be limited to repair or replacement by GMI upon our examination and sole discretion. Greene Mfg., Inc. shall in no event be liable for incident, consequential, contingent, or any other damages. This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been subject to abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, damage in shipment, or miss-application. This warranty does not obligate GMI to bear the cost of transportation or labor charges in connection with the repair or replacement of defective parts.

This warranty is invalid if the damage or defect is caused by an act of God, unauthorized alteration/repair, or vandalism.

This warranty is made in lieu of any other expressed warranty, and except for the foregoing warranty, which is exclusive, there is no other expressed warranty being made. Greene Mfg., Inc. reserves all rights to the warranty. The right is reserved to incorporate subsequent design or parts changes after publication and without reissue of descriptive literature or catalogs.

General Corporate Statement:
Please review Greene Manufacturing Inc’s Terms and Conditions. If there are any questions or concerns, contact our Orders Department prior to issuing a purchase order. Buyers should reference the Greene Manufacturing Inc quote number on the purchase order. Buyer is completely responsible for being in compliance to any local codes and laws in terms of any equipment purchased from Greene Manufacturing Inc.  Terms, pricing and product specifications all subject to change without notice.
Greene Manufacturing Inc Terms and Conditions will supersede any of the Buyer's terms and conditions of purchase regardless of the purchase order or terms that are submitted by the Buyer.  Orders that are submitted with contracts or Buyer terms and conditions will require a review by Greene Manufacturing Inc and must be agreed to in writing for acceptance. Otherwise, all such contracts or terms and conditions are subsequently rejected. Fulfillment of the Buyer’s order does not in any way constitute acceptance of any of the Buyer’s terms and conditions and does not modify or amend Greene Manufacturing Inc Terms and
Conditions.

Quoted Pricing Terms:
Pricing will be quoted in USD and is valid for (30) days unless otherwise noted by Greene Manufacturing Inc. If an extended delivery date is required by the Buyer, the quoted pricing may require updating before the order will be processed. Large volume projects may be subject to an advanced deposit. A purchase order will only be accepted from the quoted party and pricing is not valid if the purchase order is submitted from a 3rd party. Any 3rd party companies will need to request a new quote specific to them, unless otherwise communicated by Greene Manufacturing Inc, prices are those in effect at the time of the quote. All orders are pending final approval by Greene Manufacturing Inc. If Greene Manufacturing Inc product is quoted by any other party, said party bares all risk that the quote is correct. Such quotes will not be accepted or processed by Greene Manufacturing Inc if the quote has errors.

Drawings:
With standard design and size for products, the Buyer agrees to and accepts the design and size specifications as listed and defined in a quote and any product documentation. Buyer also agrees that signed drawings for custom product is an agreement and acceptance of the designed custom product.

Terms of Payment:
Payment terms are net 30 days upon credit account approval to established customers. Non-established customers must submit credit references before credit can be issued. Credit will be determined on the strength of the credit references and the minimum criteria set forth in Greene Manufacturing Inc credit requirements.

Product Terms:
All products are subject to Greene Manufacturing Inc’s standard tolerances for specifications. Greene Manufacturing Inc reserves all right to make substitutions and/or modifications in the specifications on any of our products as long as such changes do not adversely affect the performance of the product for the purposes in which they can be used.

Storage:
Buyer is liable for storage charges including but not limited to all third-party costs and expenses incurred by Greene Manufacturing, in holding or storing products for the Buyer or at the Buyer’s request.

Returned Goods:
All returns must be authorized by Greene Manufacturing Inc prior to shipment and accompanied by a Greene Manufacturing Inc issued returned goods authorization number. All authorized returns must be shipped freight PREPAID via UPS or motor carrier. Greene Manufacturing Inc will accept NO C.O.D. returns. Provide documents stating the contents, reason for return and return authorization number. All items to be returned must be packed in original packaging and in compliance with motor carrier specifications. If approved, goods must be returned in original packaging and in new, unused, undamaged condition or package will be refused at the receiving dock. There are no cancellations or returns on custom or special-order items. All cancellations and returned items must be received within 30 days of purchase date and are subject to a 25% restocking charge. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to pay for the freight cost of the returned item(s).

Taxes:
Greene Manufacturing Inc does not collect taxes outside of the state of Michigan. All shipments in the state of Michigan will carry the current sales tax rate unless an exemption certificate is on file with us. If the product is delivered outside of the state of Michigan, it is the sole responsibility of the Buyer to pay all applicable taxes as required by their governing entities in their state. Greene Manufacturing, Inc. reserves the right to add sales tax or any other tax that may be imposed upon our products as required by law.

Other Fees:
The buyer shall be solely responsible for paying all applicable duties, plan check fees and fees for engineering seals on drawings or calculations directly related to any order to the appropriate governing authority. Note that these fees are not quoted by Greene Manufacturing Inc.

Deliveries/Delays:
Delivery dates acknowledged by Greene Manufacturing Inc are estimates based on current conditions at time of receipt of order, all technical data, and required approvals. Greene Manufacturing Inc makes no allowances, nor shall we be liable directly or indirectly for any loss or damage resulting from any delay in delivery failure that is due to any cause beyond Greene Manufacturing Inc’s control including without limitation the unavailability of supplies, delays in deliveries by suppliers or sources of power, delays of carriers, acts of nature including but not limited to delays due to weather, fires, floods, epidemics, labor difficulties due to lockouts/strikes, stoppages, shortages, accidents, government, acts of war/civil unrest, slowdowns or acts/omission of the Buyer. Greene Manufacturing Inc will not be liable for any damages or penalties, whatsoever, direct or indirectly for delays caused by our failure to perform unless otherwise specifically agreed to in writing by an authorized officer of Greene Manufacturing Inc.

Cancellation Policy:
Once standard orders are in production, they are non-cancellable unless special authorization is acquired from an authorized officer of Greene Manufacturing Inc. In the rare occasion that a cancellation is authorized, the order could be subject to a 25% restocking fee. No cancellations are accepted for special or custom orders. Orders over $5,000.00 in value cannot be cancelled absent agreement by Seller at the Sellers sole and absolute discretion.

Shipping Policy:
Terms are F.O.B. factory, Greene Manufacturing, Inc.’s responsibility to the merchandise ends when the transportation company issues its receipt to us. Freight claims must be made against the carrier by the consignee, Greene Manufacturing Inc does not file freight claims. All merchandise is packed in compliance with carrier requirements. Examine all shipments carefully BEFORE ACCEPTANCE. If there is any indication of damage or shortage, request the delivering carrier to make a notation to this effect on the freight bill BEFORE signing it. Should damage be discovered after delivery, retain all packaging materials and request immediate inspection by the delivering carrier. Once the delivering carrier has a clear receipt for a shipment, they are no longer responsible for any shortages or damages. Greene Manufacturing, Inc. cannot accept merchandise returned due to shipping damage.
